Below is a summary of the full terms and conditions to help young people between the ages of 13 and 18 understand the rules for using our website, or using any of our service.
You are not allowed to create an account on our service (i.e. the www.physicsfox.org website, or Physics Fox mobile app) if you are under the age of 13. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you can only create an account if you have the permission of your parent or guardian.
Please note that the minimum age of data consent (13 in many countries) may be higher in your country. It is your responsibility to know the correct minimum age for your country, so ask an adult if you need help finding it.
This document does not replace the full terms and conditions. Your parent or guardian should ensure they read and agree to the full terms and conditions.

Introduction
This document, along with the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy set out the rules under which we allow you our service.
We may need to update this document and change the terms. If we make any big changes to these terms or our Privacy Policy, we will let you know about it. By continuing to use our service, you will be treated as having agreed to any updates.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should stop using the service.
Who are we?
PhysicsFox.org runs Physics Fox, a free online textbook for high-school physics. We can be contacted by email at [email protected], or by post at Office 47218, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US.
Accounts
You may need to create an account to access some of the features of our service.
When you create your account, you will need to choose a display name. This display name may be shown to other users on a public leaderboard, or if you choose to post comments.
Your display name must not be offensive, vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate in any other way.
Your display name should also not include any intellectual property that belongs to anyone else – for example, your display name should not include any trademarks or brand names that do not belong to you.
Your display name must not contain any personal information.
We may need to change a display name or take other actions if it breaches any of the above rules. You are free to change your display name at any time.
You must always keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone else or allow anyone else to use your account to access the service.
Content
All of the content (e.g. text, images, sounds, music) found on our service is owned by PhysicsFox.org, or used with permission. You are not allowed to do anything with this content outside of what is permitted in the terms of service, unless you have permission from us in advance.
Although we try our best to make our content as good as it can be, we cannot guarantee that the information is accurate and up-to-date. We are not liable for any inaccuracies in our content, or for any upset caused by our content.
We cannot guarantee that our service or any of its content will be available forever, and we may remove them at any time. However, if any features or content are removed, we will try to let you know a resonable time before it happens.
We try our best to keep our service running at all times, and will fix any problems as soon as we can. Sometimes we may need to temporarily suspend access to the service in order to fix problems.
Subscriptions
You may need a subscription to use some features of our service. If you apply for a subscription, you must make sure all the information that you provide is accurate (including the credit/debit card number and expiration date, and other payment details) and that you have parental or guardian consent if you are under 18. You must have the permission of the payment card holder before you apply for a subscription.
You agree to pay all subscription fees specified when you apply including all applicable taxes. Unless otherwise stated, all prices shown for EU countries include VAT.
Subscription payments will be taken at regular intervals (e.g. monthly if you select a monthly subscription) and will continue until you cancel your subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time within your account settings.
Once cancelled, you will not be charged any further subscription fees. We do not offer refunds for any payments already made in respect of subscriptions, but of course you are still able to use use your subscription until the subscription period ends.
Refunds
Unless required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable. This includes if you decide to cancel your subscription or close you account.
If you have broken any of our rules or we believe you are going to break our rules, we may need to suspend, or permanently close your account or restrict your access to certain features within the service. This includes where we believe:
- you are under 13;
- you are between 13 and 18 and do not have your parent's or guardian's permission to the use the service;
- you have acted unlawfully or dishonestly; and/or
- it is necessary in order to prevent any harm to any other users or any damage to us.
We also have the right to suspend or permenently close your account without notice, for any reason whatsoever, including a breach of the terms of service.
